FAQs
Are these web sites scams?
No, most are not, there have been one or two sites that have cropped up, masquerading as freebie sites that have scammed users, but the eXceem community keep a close eye on the networks offering gifts, and soon make it clear if any appear to be dodgy. They also show which networks they support, and those that are new that they are working closely with.
Can someone else at my home sign up?
No, not if they signup from the same P.C. or I.P. Address as you and give the same delivery address. If they were to sign up from a work P.C. and give their works delivery address that would be ok, so long as no one else at their workplace had signed up.
If it's a free trial why are my credit card details needed?
Some of the offers that are free trials will require you to enter your debit or credit card details whilst completing the offer. They will not charge your credit card, unless you do not cancel before the end of your trial, in which case they will automatically charge you for a months membership and will continue to do so each month until you decide you no longer wish to subscribe to their service and cancel your membership.
How long does it take for my offer to show as completed?
This varies from offer to offer, some will show as "green" (completed) within hours and sometimes even minutes. Others can take a number of days to register as complete.
What should I do if my offer doesn't show as completed?
Most sites suggest that you allow up to 14 days for your offer to be credited as complete. If after 14 days you still haven't been credited, raise a support ticket with the network that you joined, explaining what offer you completed and when, and if possible send them evidence that you completed the offer, something like a confirmation e-mail or even a screen shot of a confirmation message.
My account has been placed on hold, what should I do?
If you have been trying to cheat the system then you should hang your head in shame and leave it at that, as the network has you bang to rights. If you feel you've been placed on hold unfairly or by mistake then you should raise a support ticket with the network enquiring why this has happened, and then try to resolve the issue with all the facts that you have.
