Having been on the freebie scene for a while now, here are a few tips to help you get started:

• Always use your real details when signing up, networks will put you on hold and not send you a gift if you provide false information
• Don't sign up for more than one account from the same P.C. or I.P. Address, networks use this to track people trying to scam the system by signing up as referrals for themselves
• Don't sign up two people from the same address, most networks only only one user per household
• Make sure you check out the eXceem community you will find a lot of helpful information there
• Make sure you send your referral link with an explanation of how the freebie scene works to all your friends, family and colleagues, people who know you are much more likely to get involved
• Before you sign up to any of the networks and try to complete any offers make sure you have cleared your cookies, as sometimes these can stop an offer from tracking. In Internet Explorer 7 click on Tools -> Internet Options, then under the Browsing History section click on Delete, then select Delete Cookies
• If going for an item like a PS3, and you can't get all the referrals you need, ask friends to sign up for coral, and offer to pay them for the £5 stake they deposit. That way it costs your friend nothing and you get all your referrals. If you get 10 referrals like this it will have cost you £50 for a brand new PS3
